Interdisciplinary Forum on
Superficial Fungal Infections

Venue

Dear colleagues

we cordially invite you to the first Interdisciplinary Forum on Superficial Fungal Infections which will be held in October this year in Jena. The field of Superficial Fungal Infections has developed rapidly during the last years and new fungal molecules have been identified and the interaction and cross talk between fungi and the human host are elaborated and are being understood in greater detail.

This interdisciplinary forum is an element of a series of workshop organized by the study group Eukaryotic Pathogens from the German Society for Hygiene and Microbiology and is organized in collaboration with the German Society for Mycology. The program reserves time to incorporate the latest development in the field which we hope will be presented by young investigators and doctoral students. Relevant aspects and novel data that are covered in the submitted abstracts will be selected for oral presentations.

We are looking forward to welcome you in Jena and have a productive and exciting workshop.
